Disable limits when zoning to yourself

    While I generally agree on the zoning limits, I'm going to be a bit proactive and ask for those to be removed when zoning to yourself.

    Zoning to yourself is a wll known workaround to a good number of bugs, specially when crafting. Even if those bugs are resolved this release (didn't read any mention) there is a good chance to other bugs to appear for which zoning to yourself will still be a quick fix.

    Since zoning to yourself doesn't actually add any advantage (you end where you were) only a slight disadvantage (a loading screen) and the only reason I can think to do so is for work around glitches I'd remove the cooldowns and casting time for this case only.

    Why don't you just use /stuck?

    It's not the same. Stuck just moves you around the scene, while /zone forces a scene reload, which is needed with some bugs (for example, the red item one, most annoying when crafting)

    That sounds to me like they need to fix /stuck rather than /zone

    /stuck and /zone-to-self are tools to solve two different kind of problems.

    Until those problems are solved in other ways, let's keep these tools separate.

    And don't add a cooldown to zone-to-self. It has no other purpose than to fix your avatar, and should be considered a debug trick, not a fast travel shortcut.

    Yeah, I've used self-zoning quite a bit too. While it's not that many more mouse clicks to just exit to menu and get back into the game, you can't beat a single step /zone command.
