Draw Strength skill - ranged question

I am hoping that this skill uses the strength skill rating of the Avatar.

I don't get how it works at all. (It increases the damage but ...how?)

Is there something a person can do to augment its usefulness?

 

AFAIK, it simply adds to the damage the bow will do. The name implies you are able to use higher draw strength bows, and by using such higher strength bows, would do more damage, even though more than damage is affected by draw strength, and you never change out your bow *grins*

 

Uh it is not to hard it increases the weapon Damage at - 68it add 1.7 Dmg at 88 it adds 2.2 Dmg.

Not much to figure out, nothing to twist, simple math - adds to damage.

Now is it worth it ? That is all up to you do you want to do 2 more points with each hit?

Like almost every other skill you look at it does not seem like a lot or worth it. but since they are all minor changes . . . . .

One sec and ill explain.

 

See how your bow does a total of 8 -22 dmg? Thatd be your base.
Every attack you arnt doing 8 -22. Your doing 8-22 base x multipliers. Strength. Ranges skill. Armor boosts. Etc etc.
When i s a charged normal attack i hit for 60-90 a lot of times. Non crit.

So does adding 2 dmg to my base translate to 2 dmg on target? No. It ends up being significantly more. Hense why it goes up by such small factors.

I recently took draw stength from 55 ( had locked for while ) to about 76 isu or close to 80. On skill thats like 1 dmg. Reality is my base has gone up and on actul shots its enough ive notied it.
For example with no other ranged skills havn beeen touched i went from 295 crit to breaking 310 on same mobs same day.

It might seem small but it does translate to being Imo one of the most important things to take up for ranged.
