I just wanted to suggest a UI improvement - dragging and dropping items onto a sub-container should both insert and auto-stack with any like-item inside it.

I have several backpacks I'm using to manage my inventory, reagents, metalwork, etc.

It's already confusing enough seeing every single thing in my bank box, which I still don't understand the design behind that ( it's like browsing my C drive but seeing every single file on my computer in the root directory ). This makes me cry :D

Anyway, dragging and dropping onto a container will at least help me know where stuff is, and that I haven't accidentally combined a stack FROM a bag TO my main inventory when I meant to do the opposite.

Agree. +1. I find it annoying to have to place an item right on top of another item for it to stack.

It would also be nice if the recipes window for crafting counted mats you have in bags. I like to use bags to sort everything out but then I have to take them out to craft easier.
