Enchanting recipe in Alchemy disappearing

I haven't bought the enchanting recipe, yet can enchant (just manually put the regs on the alchemy table and 'craft'). This causes the enchant recipe to appear, as expected.

After logging out, however, the recipe is gone the next time I log in. I can manually enchant (crafted item, 5 gold, 10 mandrake) as usual, and the recipe shows in the pick list once done in a session. It does not stay between logged in sessions, however.

Using latest build on Win10, not a showstopper, just a headscratcher.
