Shes got more hp this time around. I have gotten both quivers and bows from her already.
The experience and loot are not even close to reflecting the difficulty. This is seriously one of the most un-fun things to do in SotA.
Well she is meant to be a group mob, I am not sure what exactly you are complaining about. Is it the loot vs difficulty that you are unsatisfied with?
Or is it that they upped her difficulty that it is much harder for you to kill her on your own? And you are feeling weaker in general?
I agree that the loot sucks, but this has been always the case in SotA. There is nothing new on that side right?
I know the loot in SotA generally doesn't seem great but the experience and loot that you get from her are especially bad considering her difficulty.
What specifically should Envy Angel be dropping then @Barugon ?
Currently, she has a chance to drop 2 highly valued items. What specifically else should she be dropping?
Really? There's a lot of stuff she could be dropping. How about more gold, gems, obsidian chips (she does use chaos magic after all), other reagents, potions... just about anything that makes up for the cost of fighting her. How about more experience (so I don't feel like I'm wasting my time)?
She should definitely drop more gold - pretty obvious what she's up to in that house of hers.
Just to be clear, here's what I get like every time I loot her:
That is some suckass loot! The prospect of getting a unique item (which I have not even see a hint of yet) doesn't make up for that crap.
That loot is equivalent to ~60 gold. I get more from the Admiring Imps.
Are you accounting for the gold they steal from you?
They have like 66 gold before stealing from you.
I can get a lot more than that from the overland map random encounters. At a fraction of the risk, expense & frustration.
We're definitely not going to attract more of the F2P crowd this way.
Someone encourage Chris to fight this mob in a fair way on a stream - we will probably see some positive results .
This is the problem with every high tier target in the game. 99% of the time you get squat. 1% of the time you might get something. If you're lucky.
Which means that players engaging this content are disappointed 99% of the time. With no end in sight.
Long proposed that more things should go the essence route - kill Envy, get an "Envy fragment" or something, every time. Once you get 100 of these, trade them for an Envy bow or quiver at that NPC that gives you the quest ( or some such equivalent). At least that way you could work toward it - I don't have an issue with having to do it 100 times, I don't have an issue with having to "work for it", but relying constantly on random blind luck in almost every facet of gameplay certainly takes its toll.
Even gives the potential to have high tier cosmetic earnables that can't just be acquired through dumb luck or even tradeability - if you have this, you worked for it.
Hands down my least favorite seasonal in the game. The juice isn't worth the squeeze any way you look at it.
she should drop her dress and her wings too
Of note, just out of sheer curiosity, Envy Angel has been killed 3451 times in the last 30 days, from the public API.
