Everyone roll Air Mage

    Haha Air tree damage spells are now cheapest in focus... Chain Lightning costs now only 6... SRSLY?

    Why can't they get this tree in balance? Because it's the only one with good spells in it... Either buff the other schools or adjust the air spells... Really tired to see this issues over months now.

    I am staying away from air for this very reason. I feel like a lot of folks will go air and then be rebuilding characters in a few months when this build gets nerfe... er balanced properly.

    Edit: I hope to God it gets balanced properly.

    What do you want done to Air?
    Is it the stuns?
    Water, Earth and Sun all hit just as hard when built properly.
    I do have issues w/light armor and stun resist in general.

    Either they implement diminishing returns or remove stuns from some of the spells.

    Yah, it looks like chain lightning was just not updated in the last pass I made. It is changed locally on my computer but somehow didn't get submitted.

    As a stun based Blunt/Earth specialist I have fought many who have said "wow, I was stunned the whole time". While this is rare and lucky (deck draw), blunt is still way to weak, but I still have hope and will go that way after persistence.

    But I have also been in PvP where someone just chain... chain lightninged me to death very easily (as I get crit for 255 hp last time). This is ridiculous... or in the least something like earthquake should fairly even hit harder (since its close range only) as well as stun.

    Air is unbalanced... which is why everyone ran it in PvP this cycle.

    As far as searing ray vs banish undead. An assortment of random effects could be added to banish undead? Sometimes it causes undead to flee, other times it insta-kills them, other times it paralyzes them, etc?

    It's hard to beat a spell that does damage and stuns. (lightning/chain) I guess the hope is that there's diminishing returns on consecutive stuns from the CC buff players get when they're under the effect of a CC spell/skill.

    I'm hoping the mes effects like sap, moon beams, etc will be more powerful or different in some way (unaffected by knights grace and stun resist?) since they don't do damage and DoT's also break them instantly?

    Unless its been fixed the CC buff you get after being stunned isn't effecting lightning. People can still stun lock players and monsters.

    Honestly I think air is fine. Chain Lightning is a cheap spell but doesn't do nearly as much damage as a level 40 lightning.

    Personally, I think Fire is a bit underpowered, if you are the range wizard type. I think m there is a spell
    Missing in that tree, comparable to Sun Ray possibly? Maybe Fire Spike? As is, higher end fire is only good for aoe at this point.
