When I start up the QA client through the launcher there is a new LB shield intro thing and the client hangs up quite a bit load the shield and after. It can cause it to go unresponsive.

    Point of the shield?

The load has always been there, as best as we are aware. The shield is intended as a splash screen to try and mitigate visual issues that were occurring on client load for some clients.

Thanks for the feedback. This was a fast placeholder to resolve a bug. I imagine our Mac players will like it significantly more than a strobing/flashing epileptic screen when they turn the client on.

But to each their own, I suppose!
