I have posted this as an answer to an ongoing discussion about the land deeds, and I believe this should also be a feature in game:

IMHO, speaking of game (since that what we are mainly supposed to be speaking here about), the number of available deeds in the store has to be proportionate to the square footage of the available land in game. In other words, Portalarium should NOT sell more deeds than there are lots / land available to place them. Or there should always be enough land to place all the deeds. There should also be more centralized system in game (Realty Administration?), where people with available deeds could always go to get some kind of a general idea of where there is available land in Novia and who is the owner. Running from town to town and from POT to POT to speak with town crier and find yourself some land, imho, is obtuse.

One may say - "It is a game, so it's normal, also it is based on lore that there is no centralized organization to help with these questions." It is a game, but this game sells virtual property, also, even in medieval times you could talk to a town Mayor, or find some kind of paperwork listing available land for purchase. Players need to be helped with additional ways to find land to place their deed. Some items in the store have not put any thought behind it seems and only sold to raised money without providing a buyer with equal "service" in game. They are sold for the sake of selling and getting more money, but what happens next - who cares, why don't you just send a note to customer service, see what happens. Its not supposed to be like this.

Portalarium would never buy servers for their data centers, to run their game on, without the support contract for the purchased hardware. Yet they sell very expensive items in the store, for the sake of selling only to raise money. I want to see some kind of in-game possibly in-lore services, like the above mentioned "administration" to at least help people with deeds. Otherwise people would buy a deed in the store and then run around Novia, like on fire, and try to find available lot. Needs to be some centralized solution in game to support and accommodate deed usage.
