first person overland map? cool

ok, maybe this has always been in game but I just left a scene for the first time while in first person view and was in fp view on the overland map which was so cool.

however, I was stuck in that view and the V key would not toggle me out, so that may be a bug?

 

I scroll in and out with my mouse button.

 

I was sure I tried that, but maybe not. I have my days. I'll check that next time.

 

I've never tried that! I've always been 3rd person in overworld and had it locked pretty far away from the character, imho. Although now you can zoom waaaaaaay out too, which is kinda neat having the camera in the clouds. heh

 

I still don't understand the need for this but... it seems to be built in. I would prefer a smaller scale version with more interaction commands/hex properties

 

Ive just tried first person on WM, and its fun! Pretty cool view. I guess you have to exit a scene in FP for it to work, as I can't switch to it on WM using 'V' from 3rd person. Nice discovery Gadfrey, wonder if its intentional?

Hmm, I'm wondering if its a bug? As I can't switch back to 3rd person on the WM if I enter it in 1st.
