First Quick Thoughts, Higher Skill Training AWSOME . . . but?

    Implementing the need for higher skill level ??? in the trees for skill/spells below is AWSOME requiring a much more thought our use of skill points.

    My mage is now more focused and lost a whole skill tree but is also much dumber and weaker :)

    Problem is that this also REQIRES level 59 (almost 60) and I an VERY weak, and skill gaiing is still slowed, (now even slower) and take ALOT more to achieve what I had. I know I was spoiled before but I think it is a little severe.

    Also RESOURCES FOR MAGES IS JUST PLAIN ABSURB, harvest 2 nightshade of on plant which is almost impossible to find and many many spells require it? Some serious balancing is needed for these resources.

    Technically you don't need to use resources on a Mage at the moment. Completely agree that gathering doesn't yield enough resources for reagents to make it overly viable and the current price of reagents make casting very very expensive.

    In saying that, I would still want regs in :p

    Yeah ya just made being a mage that much more difficult to accomplish / maintain :-( Ah well guess Ill go back to a dexer for a while :-(

    I don't need to use regs but use A lot MORE FOCUS SO THAT IS JUST AS SAD

    Same problem if you are trying to be an archer. I am completely against the multitude of type of arrows. Moreover, once the encumbrance is up, all archers backpack will be full of arrows.

    I am still hoping for a real skill system UO style..

    It sort of kills one of the strong selling points for locked decks though (needing only one copy of any glyph, having more points to spend on innate).

    It also sorts the classless system........ hmm or maybe not?
