Title: Fox and Rabbit game quest problem.
    Reproduction Rate: Impossible to quantify
    Blocker? No

    Details:
I run through the 'Fox and Rabbit' quest in Castle Atos each day, with three characters on different accounts. Usually the masked 'rabbit' child NPC is in the same place for all three runs, although which location they are at often changes from day to day. Today, though the masked child was there for the first two tries, no child, masked or otherwise, was at that location. It was one of the locations indicated by the blue magnifying glass 'search near here' indicators.

    Steps to Reproduce:
Left and re-entered the zone, and also completely closed the client and restarted, neither made 'rabbit' reappear. It looks as if it has not respawned at some point between my second and third characters ran the quest.

Edit : After a while went back to Castle Atos, and the quest was not active any more. Talked to Kresimir who gave the quest, he told me 'we are not playing now, come back tomorrow'. It's acting as though I had completed the quest for the day on that character, but I have not.

@Aurelius Silverson, when the child says you have to find it in a day, they mean a specific 24-hour period. you probably got your first and second characters done right before it reset, and the child moved elswhere in the scene at that point, and you lost the quest flag because you did not find them within the day specified.

Possibly - the timings were first character got the quest at 11:59:14 and completed it at 11:59:17, second one got it at 12:08:24 and completed it at 12:09:02, third one got it at 12:22:47 and it was not possible to complete it since the 'rabbit' was not there, and by 13:00:05 "Kresimir: We're not playing right now. Come back tomorrow and we can play a new game of fox-and-rabbit." Seems I will need to remember to not try this one around the middle of the day, my time.

The "rabbit" child spawns in a random location. If you're returning to the scene, or coming in with a new character, the "rabbit" could be in the same location or somewhere else in Castle Atos.

Also, the game/quest has special "daily" flags. If you complete the game, or wait too long, you'll have to come back after the daily flag resets (usually that means a day later) to play again.

I just submitted a fix for avatars who started the game but didn't finish it within a day. It should go live with Release 100.

Hopefully my fix helps you out and you can play again when the fix is live.

Haha! So crazy! Thanks for the picture. I'll poke into the issue and see if we can stop that rabbit from "running back to base."

    @Sannio
There’s an NPC schedule that can sometimes be engaged when speaking to an NPC and after you finish speaking to them they will then path their way to the Avatar that spoke to them.

What players do, is speak to the rabbit to get the quest item. They then run to the 2 kids to complete the quest for the day, meanwhile, the rabbit kid will now path to the Avatar that just spoke to them.

This happens throughout the entire game with most NPC’s.

I can easily make a video to show you this if needed. Just ask.

It's normal behavior for NPCs to follow you, but they sometimes follow you for too long. There are some things I can do to try keeping the "Rabbits" in the vicinity of their starting locations, even if they want to follow a player.
