[Fixed 69576] Preben's Micsere Ingot turn in

    Title: Preben the shoemaker requests one Micsere Ingot
    Reproduction Rate: one time quest
    Blocker? no
    Details: Quest turn in opens give dialog but he already took the ingot.


    Steps to Reproduce: Get quest from Yew blacksmith to gather ingots. Blacksmith sends you to South Majestic Forest to Preben. Tell him Micsere then click give ingot.
    Inventory dialog opens but you do not have the ingot it looks like he took it automatically.

    @vulcanjedi , there are two ways to trade an NPC an item to complete a task. The most common way is when a trade window opens up, you put your item in the window and submit it to the NPC. The less common way is when you have a conversation choice.

    Regarding an example of the latter, "[Give Ingot] Here, take it," indicates the ingot will be automatically removed from your inventory if you select that choice (and no trade window will appear).

    If you get both situations, where an item automatically disappears AND you get a trade window asking for that item, that would be a bug and should be reported. However, I think your situation is more along the lines of the example above. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    That is exactly what happened but I don't remember the dialog saying give but when I clicked it repeated Give Ingot.
    Whatever I clicked turned it in but the give item interface still opened.

    No I did this on an alt.
    This was a new quest starting from the blacksmith in Yew then collecting the ingots and turning them back in. I did have one extra so he didn't give me one back. Then he sent me to Preben.
