It could be the back side of a node in another area. Etceter has two gold nodes like that-- one on the first level to the left, and one on the third level.

No it's not. There is no backside. I've mined here a lot and the node has become almost totally hidden in the last release or two.

This is odd. The change was done but it's not appearing on the Live server. I'll dirty the scene and hopefully that helps the change move to Live with an upcoming update.

Downloaded latest patch, still not working.
Just to ensure we are on the same page, enter The Hilt via Paladis Passage, take a right, first cave wall on the left is where ore node is located.

Of note, there’s 2 different maps for this scene:

    Novia_R3_Hills02_Hilt_Interior/Quest
    Novia_R3_Hills02_Hilt_Interior/Default

Is it possible, only the Quest map was the one updated, and not the Default one?

That's exactly the issue. Normally, resource nodes are shared for all scenarios used in the scene. As in, we almost never, ever, ever do it. I didn't realize that this scene has a different set of resource nodes for each of the two scenarios. The difference is that the quest versions don't respawn. I'll fix it properly now. Thanks for the idea!

Looks like the issue is fixed. Ore node moved down the hallway a bit, next to another node. Big thanks to everyone who figured this out.
