Details: Previously I was sometimes getting 20K xp at login. Now getting nothing the last few times.
Steps to Reproduce: Login and get random xp bonus.

(Actually it might be a little more fun if there were a random or "wheel spin" component to it.)

User Specs:
OS: Windows 10 (10.0.0) 64bit
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz (4) System RAM: 16271
GPU: Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 GPU RAM: 4195
SotA.EarlyAccess.LIVE.Win.64.625.Date.07.05.17
Area: Novia_R6_City_Jaanaford
Area Display Name: Jaanaford

since 624 i never got any anouncement of the daily login XP (and checked XP - Dying once cost me 20k atm from falling in outskirts -have to check if falling resistance is buggd...)
checked login in in the morning and in the evening so maybe 11h/13h apart. in the evening i stay longer online - no daily login XYP

 

It's now in the chat dialogue and a full 24 hours has to pass. If you are looking for the window when you log in, that aspect has changed. Is that what you were looking for?
I like the wheel spin idea!

 

Its also not immediate, it can be delayed after login too.. ive waited 5 mins for it to show

 

Ahh... missed that memo. OK I will look in the chat window over the next 24 hours to see if it pops up, and let you know here.

 

I played for 45 minutes last night with no gain, and I did not get it the previous night either so i know 24 hours had passed. Same with both my characters. Also same with my guildmate. Something is awry I'd say.

 

it comes up but as a single line, to the point it could easily poof away in combat. it is definately a 24hr since you last claimed it thing too! Good news is the line does show up in the chat log
if you have windows from a command line in your chat log folder you can do
find /i "bonus experience" *.txt

under linux you can do (assuming its in the chat log under linux too)
grep -i "bonus experience" *.txt

 

a full 24 h after last logout or between 2 consecutive logins?

ok checked my logs:
7/1/17 no bouns XP in chatlog
7/2/17 no bouns XP in chatlog
7/3/17 no bonus XP in chatlog

so it's there but is scrolled away too fast...

so only no window at astart -ok

 

Edit: I'm correcting my response. The Oracle did change from the old way that I was familiar with. Please see Lord Andernut's post below mine. Sorry for passing on bad info....

 

It was my understanding that the Oracle was changed reset at a certain time every day due to some frustration.

This means you don't have to login exactly 24 hours from the last time to get the maximum benefit, but can login in the evening of one day, and the morning of the next.

Did the Oracle Design change again? If it did not, it would be nice if the daily xp bonus worked similarly.

My knowledge of this was out of date. After a little research, the Oracle design is exactly how you described it here. Sorry for passing on outdated info. Whether the daily XP works the same 'current Oracle way' or the 'old Oracle way' I am not certain of just yet. Thank you for the needed correction.

 

from my experience the xp bonus is 24 hours since last claim.. not once in every oracle day

 

Can you please pass it along that this feature would work much better if it functioned like the current Oracle <3.

I'll check the logs again tonight, but I did not get my bonus, so something is still amiss. I do play both accounts from the same computer, not sure if that makes a difference. Use steam login for one and shroud login for the other.

 

So the daily XP works on a 24 hour time, not a set time like the Oracle.
@GreyMouser Skye definitely let us know, pretty please. There was another fix made involving multiple accounts so I need to see if it is a part of the repro.
@Jaanelle DeJure We could not repro this. When we tested it, it updated without having to log out and log back in. We'll try again but we're having a hard time with it. Let us know if it happens again?

@Lexie It is appearing sometimes in the chat log, but definitely did not appear in the UI chat tabs. At least not last night. The time is definitely set to the 24 hour cycle, not the Oracle reset cycle. This means the time is always creeping away from you. 8pm one night, but you log in at 9pm the next, so the timer starts then. Now if you do 8pm again you have to wait till 9:01pm. I have several gaps though I logged in each night so not sure what was up, but no feedback except in the saved chat log.

 

im also getting this Bug, I login and get nothing; ill wait for hours in Solace Bridge; nothing is coming up on display or in Chat
