    I have resolved this issue as "unable to repro." The heraldry polearm material appears to be functioning as intended.

    a: it shows correctly when the polearm is equipped. it's only the deco version that's brown and washed out. it also shows correctly on banners, shields, and cloaks i have made.

    b: how did you get a red background? that item shows no dye slots on mouseover and dragging dye onto it, whether equipped or in inventory, gets a pop-up saying it can't be dyed. if it came out with a red background without you dying it, that'd be a bug.

    c: check the one you made on a linux system?

    This was indeed the deco version. I tested both versions - they appear identical on my local machine. I used the dye channel to make it red. I went ahead and made the item dyeable (as was intended) for the next release. If the deco version continues to display improperly on your deco version, then there must be some kind of code bug (could be a linux problem?). This is not something I can test, but I will refer it to a programmer if the problem persists.

    @enalNomad, got it! this is left to right, my original with a heavy halberd blade, a copper halberd blade, and a white iron halbard blade. it's incorrectly picking up the metal coloring.

    at least we've narrowed it down. one more shot, plain iron on the end.

    edit: oh, and i've tested different rendering: this session is with vulkan to see if it's different. it is not.

    ...and note it's NOT applying the metal coloring to the actual metal heads up top.

    @oneandonly fixed this, but his summary of the issue was that the rendering of the "decal" for the Heraldry was not playing nice with a color replacement being applied to the banner.

    i'm gonna go with mostly-fixed on this. the actual image looks great now, but the metal used for the halberd head is still affecting the color of the canvas.
