Fizzle rate on Firefly

Firefly was billed as a way to mark a target along with it's other benefits. It seems to me that any tank in plate would find this spell almost impossible to cast in plate armor since I have GM follow through(fizzle reduction),blessing of justice(-5% fizzle chance), am in chain mail, and have a 26.6% chance on fizzle while standing still and 51.6% chance to fizzle on movement. I would suggest dropping the fizzle rate down to earth/life spell ranges so tanks could actually use it.

 

the fizzle rate on it drops pretty quickly with training. i got it to 20 on qa and it was gone, at least for me in light, after having started in the 50's

 

With cloth armor it was a breeze to cast. Maybe the spell was intended for mainly cloth and leather based tanks? Idk

 

Certainly would be easy to cast in cloth like all spells. Typically tanks are not however in cloth though I have tanked in cloth before. Since it's meant to mark, it would make a lot more sense if it would be a more reasonable fizzle rate for the typical plate wearing tank which is why this is in the feedback section.

 

I wear full obsidian plate except on my head I wear a fustian (?) cloth hood and my cast percentage is 42% with Firefly.

 

Im guessing you are not carrying a shield and 42% still seem really high for a marking skill that thanks would use.
