Friend list vs Acquaintances list

I was thinking that it would be nice if we could zone (OK, I know that zoning is going away) to people who have us as their friend. That being said Friends should be mutual thing.

So perhaps we could have Acquaintances list instead of Friend List. And if both people put each other into it, they would become friends. It would be also nice if we could see who put us as their acquaintance (or friend), so we could seal that friedship.

 

yes, some forced reciprocity would be nice. there are three people (that i know of) that have friended me without so much as saying hi first. i don't understand why these total strangers should be able to track my cominsg and goings.
