Fustian Straps should give a +0.75% Focus Bonus.

@Attenwood Fustian Cloth Straps only have +0.1% Focus but Cotton has +0.5% Focus. However, Fustian Cloth Bolts gives +1.5% Focus Bonus and Cotton Cloth Bolts give a +1.0% Focus Bonus. So it seems to me that Fustian Cloth straps should give +0.75% Focus because that's half of +1.5% Focus. It takes half the ingredients to make the straps as it does to make the bolts of cloth so it should give exactly half the bonuses that it gives. The more straps or bolts you use in a recipe should add up to be the bonus you get.

Nope, as of this moment (build 465), it's 0.50 (not %). Pure fustian is the way to go if you want the largest focus pool.

 

So, if you had a base of 500 focus points then fustian and cotton would give you the same amount (0.5 focus points). Anything less than 500, you would get less from fustian.

 

They did nerf cotton straps instead of buffing faustian. My staff now has +1 focus from secondary material bonus.

What is really BS is the bonus for hilts, bowstrings etc comparatively now. 7-10% vs +1. Need some consistency here plz
