I went and bought all the available recipes in Owl's Head in offline mode. I then exited to menu and went back so I could log into the live server. I did not save the game manually.

After playing online for a while, I went back to offline mode and looked at my recipe book to find none of the new ones I just bought and learned had been saved.

Therefore, I'm assuming the autosave function is not working correctly.

OK, just following up on this to give more info.

When I went from offline mode, back to menu, then to online mode... I had crashed on the overworld map and had to end-task the client. This could be why the game didn't auto-save.

I just went back to offline mode, bought / learned some recipes, then used Options -> Quit to close out the client. When I re-opened the offline mode client this time (using the "Resume" button) it did auto-save all of my recipes I just bought.

The crash is probably what caused my issue. But I know I'll be saving more frequently in offline mode to prevent this from happening again.
