Details:
I went through the quest all the way , got the quest item in the mines and returned to Resolute to hand the quest item in to Whiteguard Mahrs. I typed in 'geisterseelen', he was pleased, asked if I had it, the hand in quest window thing came up, I dragged the item into the window, then the window closed and the conversation ended.

In my chat log is says:

Whiteguard Mahrs: Do you have the Geisterseelen?

Whiteguard Mahrs: I see, so there is nothing. I'll maintain hope that you find the band soon.

I no longer have the Geisterseelen in my inventory, as I assume I gave it to him, but for some reason it didn't register that I gave it to him.

Edited to add: I went to bed and woke up this morning to find the geistersellen in my inventory. I was able to hand it in to the Whiteguard and end the quest.

Steps to Reproduce: Attempt to hand in the geisterseelen to Whiteguard Mahrs.
