I run ubuntu-mate to be specific... have a quadro 4000 with 384.111 drivers. I'm not a gamer.. at least not in very many years. But I have a soft spot for the ultima series and would like to play this game so I spent the money. The quadro keeps crashing after a few minutes and after one "double click" all subsequent "double clicks" no longer work and am forced to use the "E" button. Is this latter part a linux bug or something to do with the video card?

Either way... what video cards are other Linux/ubuntu users using successfully? Or is this game compatible with linux in name only... but not reality?

    I'm on Fedora 27 using a Nvidia GTX 1070 with 384 drivers. I haven't experienced the issues you're describing.

[edit] How much RAM so you have?
