Is there a better spot to farm wyverns than Ulfheim? I just went there and got mostly those bloody trees.
I've been using the tundra barbarian encounter. Same spawns as the plains, but the wyverns don't leash and run halfway across the scene.
Barbarian Encounters were my go-to. There is a clue when you enter the scene if it will contain wyverns, so if you don't see the clue you just exit the scene and hop to the next barbarian. Unfortunately this is very difficult to do if others are engaged in the same activity at the same time. I believe there is plans to introduce a higher tier wyvern that can be tamed so hopefully that will become the first reliable scene to go to to solo wyverns.
Edit, whoops, looks like I screwed up that quote. Accidentally deleted the last four characters in the quote instruction and ended up in it.
It really takes more than one person to handle the mobs. I go months without a death in lots of high tier zones, but this zone keeps it's prizes for only the most dedicated, smartest, fastest, and strongest solo player... the kind I write letters to offering to be their friend.
Well, I think there are players who can solo the wyverns there, though the main issue there would be skinning them all without being interrupted all the time from the new wave. Sometimes it is good to team up
Well of Aldur is great for purple wyverns..heads and what not and the occasional white. white is like 1 in 10 compared to purp. Mostly leave the smalls and go for the larges to skin and the huge at the end of the cycle - you can game sometimes by cancelling skins to get a quick skin too. You can also jump to a ledge and not take dmg/take a breather if needed during the fights. As far as other color wvys, i think barabarian ash encounters is the way to go but i havnt hit wvys much to be honest
Yeah, I was definitely talking about solo. I just want to get some haunches and I don't want a lot of stress or a fight that takes 20 minutes.
lol depends who you are some folks can solo that spot with difficulty however doable. works better with duo or more
Then when I go in them it always seems to always be the Wyvern encounter. Heh. Would be fascinating to actually document that though...
When you find one, if you exit to menu after killing everything, then wait five minutes (I usually wait six, because I'm not sure it's five minutes from when youe xit the game, or five minutes form when your account logs out) the scene will reset. Since the wyvern scene is actually a different scene than the other barbarian scene, logging back in after the scene resets will drop you back into a fresh wyvern scene. Just make sure you resume in the scene, and don't start on Novia/Mistrendur.
