    Gypsy Temporary Vendor Village Instancing;

    The Tools...

    • It has been revealed by Catnip in live stream that there is a way to track the amount of comings and goings in and out of our towns (POTs & NPC Towns), through the numbers of players who have entered or exited.
    • Temporary overland map encounters can appear outside our cities, currently used in the form of Sieges.
    • COTO Purchasable 1/2 row size lot and deed which comes with a wagon (storage container home) and is large enough to only accommodate 2 vendors and extremely few outdoor lighting & decorations.
    • 3~ Instances which have "Mini-Lots" available to accommodate player claiming through Mini-Lot Deed with container preloaded wagon home (other wagon container homes could be made for purchase or crafted to replace, but never be able to place an open lot home).
    • *(OT) Open Land Homes for POTs placing mini-lots: (*an open land home can be purchased with many outdoor lighting and décor available accommodated, yet cannot be placed in the travelling Gypsy instance. It's purpose is for POTs to have the ability to place more things, lighting, NPC pets and conversationalists or vendors. It's just another good use for the mini-lots).

Temporary Dynamic Player Population Instance Through Town Traffic Volume:

The Big Idea, "The Travelling Gypsy Instance"...

For instance; 3 traveling instances, each with descending amounts of mini-lots available. The largest amount in mini-lots available would become an instance which moves to the largest foot traffic POT or NPC Town, followed by the next largest Gypsy Instance following the 2nd largest foot traffic town and the 3rd to 3rd largest in foot traffic (in or out of town).

All lots within the Gypsy Instance should pay small taxes "each real world week" due to their temporary nature, regardless if the mini-lot deed is tax free or not (the mini-lot tax free deeds are best for the POT deco usage where open land can be a choice in it's housing). The lots within the Gypsy Instance are for traveling vendors, so taxes need the paying!

When a Gypsy Instance moves, due to the hosting town's depleted foot traffic, having some other town (NPC or POT) having a larger amount of foot traffic, all Gypsy's are instantly evicted with their belongings going into their bank.

When the Gypsy Instance first appears outside it's new hosting town, all mini-lots within the Gypsy Instance are all "up for grabs", with all it's lots empty and available for claiming.

A small wagon should appear outside of town in the same way the sieges do, with the wagon's color visually determining which size 1,2 or 3 the Gypsy Camp/Travelling Merchant Instance is.

Travelling Gypsy Instances should move once a month regardless.
(Game wide Town foot traffic checked by Catnip/portalarium once a month... or so... or whenever they remember to check... or maybe programed in "game time" rather than by hand or real world clock? About once a month the Gypsy Instances should move regardless.)

All Gypsy Instances should move within one real world month of time, then the hosting town is eliminated from Gypsy Instance placement for a term of one month of time, to prevent market stagnation and help promote other worthy towns which have less traffic, yet enough to place them as #1,2 or 3 when other are temporarily eliminated.

The Biome of this Gypsy Instance and placement of it's mini-lots should be round so as to better accommodate it's first come first serve nature as well as it's convenience for shoppers to shop there. As simple as open land with a bon fire in the center, or more for better developer's artistic design. It's not a permanent residence and it's not a prepared site, so it should appear unique, with shopper's convenience in mind.

    Further Rant...
This idea would address the growing disparity between market crafting towns and our more isolated less traveled town's and pot's vendors.
The hosting town could become community wise festive during such times one of the Gypsy Camps arrive.
This generates more "Game" and diversity to our current vendor merchant playstyle.
