Harvesting water from wishing well

When I attempt to harvest water from wishing well on my own lot, it plays the animation, shows the bucket of water to be taken, but when I click to take it, it kicked me from the lot and makes the well unable to be interacted with (no green cursor). Picking up the well and placing it back on the lot does not reset this. I tried leaving the scene and returning, and the well still could not be interacted with.

This did NOT occur on my guildmate's lot that I have permissions on. On that lot, it let me harvest it just fine, repeatedly.

Edit: Follow up: when I moved the well to another location on the lot, it worked fine.. might be slightly uneven terrain in that corner for some reason.

Follow-up 2: well, it worked fine twice, then kicked me again in the new location.
