Where do you get the recipe for Tempestry shrine?

 

only water elementals in the well of aldur.

 

Both tempestry and theurgy shrine recipes can only be obtained in Well of Aldur.

 

Are there any daemons that are not "greater"?

 

Vrul in Solania catacombs and daemons(forgot their name) in some PVP zones.

 

Dolomite Vrul. (Okay, not really, it's Dolorast Vrul.)


Tharsis isn't any different than the greater ones, though. The greater daemons used to be Tharsis, but at some point they changed the two in Blackblade. Near as I can tell, the change was just in name only.

 

Where can I find the common variety of Anapa's Favor?

 

Lich casters. But there's not a lot of places where they congregate at lower levels. Deep Ravenswoods, but I only got one there in about three hours. Old UT woulda been great, I think. People have reported Lich dungeons are good for these.

I ended up just farming the two lich bosses in Ruins of Ravensmoor. They at least seemed to have decent odds of dropping uncommons. I think in the end I had three uncommons and four commons to make the shrine.

 

The few I have just dropped from the regular Lich Mage. Like I do a small loop in Spectral Mines with the Lich Mage and Cultists then head off to the daily 3 bones quest.

 

I spent a few hours there and got none. You would think that they would be more, well, common.

 

There's a lich mage there?

 

There is. In the dungeon-y part, not the mine part. Probably same level as the ones in Deep Ravenswood. I don't know how often he respawns, but probably faster than hoping one shows up in DR.

Ah, now that I see the map, I remember that a very long time ago I would use the balcony to fight the lich. It's been so long that I forgot.

 

Hm, based on my evaluation the best place is the Fall, I got there as much as 5-6 Uncommon per hour from Lich Mages once on long-range grind.

 

I was actually wondering about the common variety. It seems to me that the uncommon ones are actually easier to find.

 

I've tweaked it up a few times because I kept adding uses for them. My latest change makes it 100% to get 1 or 2 if I recall to accommodate food changes. Players promised not to damage the feet while slaying one, which wasn't the only way we could make this possible

 

I double checked this work I did on these. Seems I didn't give Anapa's the same love I have the other off-hands. Here's an upcoming patch note, probably going to be for R88: "Increased chances for Common, Uncommon, and even Rare drops of Anapa's favor across the lich loot tables, with guaranteed chances for at least a common version on the Lich bosses such as the bosses in the Ruins of Ravensmoor." Commons should be fairly common on bosses for sure. If it takes 128 to make an Epic, so it's best to make a boss kill feel like you've made some progress, eh? I too have killed bosses and have been left with a sad feeling after slaying one. I hope to continue to improve this as time goes on. I know it seems like it's a lot of artifact love of late, but I assure you, crafting is not forgotten, and LOTS of background work is being done for some great improvements to start coming in a upcoming releases.

 

Of note, another patch note will be related to certain lich varieties having a much larger chance to drop ancient staff of death pieces. That's 128 x3, so that grind will be FAR less grindy soon.
