Heavy Iron engraving kit adds incorrect property ot smelting tongs

I put a heavy iron kit on a normal smelting tong and the engraved tongs provide a +3% smelting chance success instead if a +3% exceptional item chance as per the SotA wiki.

I have not tested the effect on other crafting tool.

 

I believe the wiki is incorrect. Smelting doesn’t make exceptional items (you do get the exceptional crafting xp). Blacksmith, Carpentry and Tailoring does.

 

You can make exceptional item with smelting. I have made exceptional earthenware bierkrugs with extra durability. It also seems like you might be able to combine artifacts, and get an exceptional. The chance to get an exceptional is displayed when you combine them.
