I start to write by saying you "Good morning!" because it's 8.48 am where I live.As you see I can't speak English really correctly.I'm a big fan of Ultima Online from Turkey.Unfortunately the era of UO finished but for old times' sake I still play it but I'll follow this website and I can't wait to play Sota
Private servers ruined the game. There were some good private servers too but most of them are editing characters etc...
I need some help too...If I donate via website will I have the acceas to the alpha version of the game on december 2013?
If you donate at the Adventurer level ($45 USD), you get access to the Alpha and Beta. I am not sure if this is still in effect, but I suspect that it is since it is still listed on the home page. You may want to wait for confirmation.
Trust me, private servers did not ruin UO. Free servers who run the early patches of UO, in my own opinion, keep alot of our love for the game alive.
Yes maybe you are right but in Turkish Shards, people have gone crazy. Not any role-play just trap&kill. In the beginning they were cool but after then people started to think UO=Counter-Strike in 2d and unfortunately then pvp servers had came and the real gamer community gave up to play. Ahh and I forgot about to talk about editing.I just can't stand in a shard where the admins make the game easier for some players.I don't know for other countries but in Turkey. That's it.
Welcome and hope to see you in game! -Stile Guild Leader of Caverns, Dungeons, and Beyond www.thecaverns.net
Hello @Sylverster the Cat to SotA! I agree with your statement, "Private servers ruined the game". Only the die hard UO gamers remain on the EA servers (far and few). My opinion is private UO servers created "elitism" servers with tons of hacks and cheats galore for certain players (usually only the server admin and his/her friends). Of course with every new private UO server means more ghost town servers. LordG.
I played on ABC UO for sometime. I got many others to play UO since the game was free that way. Many of those would of never played if they had to pay but did go on to buy large houses and things in the game.
O merhabalar Türk müsün? Anyway if you are Turk we shouldn't speak Turkish on an international platform.
Yes, if you pledge at the Adventurer level or above, you will still receive both Alpha and Beta access to Shroud of the Avatar.
hayır, Avustralya. And that is a good plan as my Turkish is fairly limited, don't get much chance to practice.
Good day to you Sylvester, and welcome! Hope to see you in the game as well. It's going to be a great adventure!
I agree. I'm really excited about testing to not only start learning the game, getting my feet wet, testing for bugs, and so on. Also though because I think the testing stages is going to be a fantastic chance to start establishing the communities, fleshing out guilds, meeting and making friends, etc. In short meeting all the people we chat, disagree, agree with, etc.
Don't worry about that, friend. I can't write and spell in really English correctly, You're all right by me, we'll get along fine.
Welcome to the madness. We should have a members map somewhere in the forum to show where everyone is from. Diversity is good!
