Holding out for a Phoenix

I''ve been wandering around Wynton's Folly for quite some time looking for that pesky phoenix. I thought I had found a likely spot and waited around for a phoenixy time of day but with no joy.

Anyone prepared to share a hint? It's near the .... etc.

 

It's a climb from the Oracle valley.
Stand with the head statue behind you and look how to get up.

 

Ok that first hill you see when you get in, go around that and you will see a place that goes into the middle of it with a big oracle statue head. there is some stairs to the left, and some little pillars to jump on. jump all the way up onto the hill, and the phoenix is up there. I am just going to bed right now, but tomorrow I can give you a hand killing it. I got you on my friends list already. One of us will have to be a healer and the other dps, or we can add some other people as well. I have helped 22 people get that done already.

 

OK thanks I was in the right place then (the statue head) but didn't see anywhere to go from there. I'll take another look tonight and check out how tough the phoenix is.
Thanks for the offer to assist also. Am probably going to need it.

Edit to Add: Lol, ok that's pretty f**ken tough. Extremely red. Don't think I managed to shift it's health bar before I died. Gonna need to do it in a team or come back in a level or 10.

 

Ya, and it resurrects once as well, so you have to kill all that hp twice.
