So the servers were just borked for a couple of hours to install a mod that makes sure all clients are running the same patch level. Sounds reasonable, but...

That coincides with pushing out a build 374 that is hosed / unplayable for both the linux and Mac users. Could we get a little more attention to minimal QA & playability on those clients before each patch, since we're now to be forced to be in lock step with the Windows build?

If camera effects is what is breaking it then their will be a universal fix in tomorrows build.

turning off camera effects fixed all graphical issues for me (on Ubuntu 14.04 / nVidia propietary drivers & 550 ti card)

just noting to devs: if i change any graphical settings, all sorts of visual artifacts are introduced. they go away when I zone, or log out / log in. my glyph icons go away, compas turns black, my black hair turns white (which is funny), trees turn into flat planes, shadows turn black (#000000; RGB black, not "shadowy"). its no big deal the game is playable, just tossing that out there. i dont need to adjust graphics settings or anything.
