House deed..

So I picked a lot in say greenhills, I pick the house I want all is good. well then as luck and OCD would have it I find a better lot and I go ahead and claim it... I expected my house deed from the one placed would go back in the bank but when I go to the bank it says "lot (greenhills)" under location, so where do I go to find the deed now ?

 

In this case you would go to the banker in greenhills to grab it.

 

I thought that the actual house deed went to your inventory.

 

They way I read the post is that he successfully claimed the new lot but no longer had his house. Can you clarify @ggoodrum

Mine have been going to the bank in the zone where my house once stood.

 

The home goes to the bank in greenhills. The deed is immediately transferred to the new location where he claimed the new lot.

 

The items in the home go to the bank, but I'm not so sure of the home itself.

Only two places to check, though, and one is instant.

I thought there was a home and there was a lot deed. His new claim would be at the new location - his lot deed would be right there. The "home" (it's not a deed) would be in the bank as I said.

So the lot DEED would be in the new lot, taken out of his inventory and suspended in "the lot" he claimed.

 

Yes I was talking about the building deed itself. or the building however you look at it. my question is I do not think there is a bank in greenhills and the location does not say "Greenfall" but "Lot(Greenfall) when I look at the bank in kingsport

 

Yes but in your bank or inventory, they look like deeds. You can also use them as decorations and they look the same as lot deeds.

 

The town crier acts as the bank in all towns.

Go to greenhills and find the town crier, your building will be there.

 

The "Lot (Greenfall)" text just means that it was automatically transferred from your lot to the bank in Greenfall.

 

They're not called the same thing.

There are Lot DEEDS and there are homes. There's no such thing as a home deed.

Everything I said before just use greenfall as a substitute for greenhills.

 

I understand that but they still look like deeds and that's why the OP said "house deed".
