How do I get in?

I assume that this is the place to get the Xanthous lens from, but I can't grok how to get in.

 

That's not where the lens is. You get in by doing the puzzle with the pillars that shoot beams up light into the sky. Basically run around the zone counter clockwise starting with the cultists and light the strange rock beacon things that way. If you want to see what one looks like, there's one in the gully with the zombies.

If you want the lens location lemme know, I'm too lazy to make a spoiler =P

It's at the candle shrine thingy by the giant statue on the hill. You can only loot it when the big statue's shadow is covering the little candle shrine

I feel dirty. I made a spoiler.

 

You know that won't wash off, don't you. No matter how hard or long you scrub. You can scrub until you bleed, but it will never, ever wash off.

 

Man don't I know it...

 

Only one more colossus (Grannus) and I can move on to the finale.

[edit] Actually, I have to do the Oracle Colossus too.

 

Cant tell when the shadow is there in "fastest" mode. Should be a bug for our less fortunate PC friends.

The shrine can be opened during midday, the cursor changes to let you know it can be opened.
