I already bought the immortal adventurer package,is it to late for me to try and get founder status?

im finding this process incredibly confusing. Basically, I am reading that I can get someone to gift me founder status, but they have to buy the packagfe through their account.

I was under the impression at time of purchase that I would get founder status but then realised I need this whole gift process instead.

Can I gift someone my already purchases package then somehow get them to gift me it back with founder status?

Thanks in advance for anyone that can clarify this for me.

 

visit the marketplace forum. You will find many players willing to gift founder pledges. What you will have to do is find a founder, send them $40 (or less) via paypal and they will then gift you a $40 founders pledge. You then have to send a email to support@portalrium.com to merge your 2 pledges and you will then have a founder pledge.

It means you have a "Founder" tier level. There is another "thing" called "Founder" status, which you do not currently have.

Does Star Citizen *explicitly* say you must have a "Founder" age backer account to receive the crossbow ?

I would like to read the wording of their requirements, if you could post a link.

No unfortunately they named one of the pledge levels 'Founder' to and that's confuse many
You would need to have a 'F' in front of your pledge level 'Founder ' to be a founder 'founder'

 

How it's done:
You would send a founder $40 Via Paypal
Make sure to include your email that is attached to your SotA account and some indication to prove this payment is yours.
Then they take the same $40 and "gift" a $40 Founders Adventure pledge TO YOU!
they will then enter your email into the SotA gift program.
You will receive an email with a link to claim your gift.
Once you have claimed your gift, you will now have 2 pledge accounts ( that is if you already have one)
You would then send an email to support@portalarium.com asking them to merger your 2 accounts.
Your accounts will merge, the $40 will be added to your current pledge, and your pledge will gain Founder status!
And that is it.

am I actually missing out on anything important by not being a founder? If its just a shield or something I don't mind

In order to get that 'F' you need to do as Gracekain wrote in the first reply.
I.E visit market place and get one to gift you a 'f' adventurer pledge and then mail support to merge them, you would then end up with a 'F' virtual collector pledge

 

my problem tho grace is I already paid for a package, so I don't want to spend another 40 dollars for something I feel I already earned. in star citizen theres this thing where you can melt packages, so what they did was allowed people to send their package to an original founder, they melted the package, then bought it back again. As you can imagine, when it is bought it gains founder status, and they just gift it straight back (the founder got the package slightly cheaper so it worked out for them in terms of free money). So everyone is happy.

Is there a way for me to do this without having to spend another 40 dollars I guess is my question.

No you can't do that like in Star Citizen, but you do not however need to be a founder if you are just interested in the xbow

 

Basically.

The extra goodies at your tier are a shield, a cloak, a bush, some start weapons, and a set of emotes.

Up to you whether it is worth the extra dough to unlock them.

I think that is about it.

 

Crystal Sword, Founder Tunic, 2 Starter Melee Weapons, Founder Cloak, Royal Elderberry Seed (to make special dye), Shield, and a few emotes. Plus, if you upgrade you get a wealth of extra stuff being founder status. Well worth it in my opinion.

 

yeh but its 40 dollars which is more than I care to pay. It does sound like some cool stuff if be getting for it but I really don't want to pay more T.T. I will have to settle for my pathetic vanduul polearm and immortal berry ;D
