I completed the love quest and have the Heart of Sorrows in inventory but

I still have 3 tasks pertaining to the quest in my Journal. Do I have the town crier remove them or do I need to go back and do that part because I missed doing it before or do I just ignore the tasks?

just ignore it. you CAN get a crier to clear them, but that would clear the highvale and lich quests too. ...which is fine, as long as you don't need the reminder: clearing them doesn't actually mess up the progression, just makes them invisible. your choice!
