I Logged off mid quest, and now Samael, during the quest of love, at the Crypt of the avatar

I Logged off mid quest, and now Samael, during the quest of love, at the Crypt of the avatar is missing.

My quest seems bugged. I have spent many hard hours getting this far in the love quest.

I logged off just entereing the crypt of the avatar before speaking with the Midras guy.

Now when I logged in it tells me to speak with Samael and he isn't guiding my anymore.
I went to andoris and found him at the tavern and it is not connecting the quest.

what are my options?

Have you tried to return to the crypt now? Also, you should have a summoning whistle, try to use that? Also, if it is in that dungeon near the Graff Mines, You should be fine to just continue on, the first time I did it, I never even saw Samael!

 

Thank you for assisting!, ok so I am in the crypt. my quest still just says speak to Samael. also, a summoning whistle for Samael? Is that what your saying?

ALSO it is in the MIdras Ruins

You're not the first to get caught up on this, not by a long shot. There needs to be better messaging on the whole summoning whistle thing.

Yeah this is one of the most problematic quests in the game. I also had this problem, it's not clear what to do.

 

It's a pleasure! These are things most people often don't even notice I almost felt stupid pointing it out but I guess it helps!

 

Also, when you get to Malice (?), you may get a different whistle that you have to use instead. Named exactly the same, but the old one will no longer work. If that happens, you will need to find the other whistle and use it.
