I want to see a library.

I would love to see a library which could be shared among the players that you are playing with. Books that we can write in like in UO. Players could share stories, recipes or craft knowledge, quest and guild information. Books and ink could be a craft item.

One could also have quests that could appear in the library or you could share a quest book that you found in the world with other players that you are playing with.

Another possibility is for players to advertise their wares or vendors with books, scrolls, or parchment.

There could also be a risk of picking up a book with poison ink.

 

This was done in Ultima Online and is not a very complex feature to implement.

Knowing Richard and his brand of RPG, I would assume that he would want this feature in himself!

 

Seconded. How awesome would it be to be able to be a librarian? A traveling book salesman?

A bookstore would be awesome. I hope they are able to code in books for this game.

 

There were always really cool books you could open up and read in the later Ultima games that really deepened the lore. It would be great if users could generate their own books, and manufacture and sell copies to other players. I'd totally write a bunch of Harry Potter slash fiction.

 

Both libraries and book stores sound like good ideas.
