Immolation

My immolation skill is at lvl 17. At this level, when I hover over the skill, the tooltip tells me I should have “+11.7 Fire Attunement for 25.2 seconds” and “1-3 Fire Damage every 2 seconds for 6 seconds”. After casting Immolation, the buff icon appears and seems to have a timer of approximately 31 seconds (perhaps it is adding the timer for the fire attunement buff and dot?). The dot lasts for the entire time the buff is up (not 6 seconds) and opening my Character Stats page (V), my Fire Attunement does not appear to increase at all (I’m not sure this stat is supposed to change on this screen but other stats do).

Also, recasting Immolation before the original buff timer expires does weird things to the timer. Sometimes the original buff timer is unaffected, sometimes 6-10 seconds are added, and sometimes 6-10 seconds are SUBTRACTED.
