In-game Deed Prices are too low

    True, if they are after a money sink (most likely true) they will want to charge a non-refundable fraction of the lot deed price for each ticket. I still do not see any down side to mandating one ticket per account. It is certainly no worse than allowing any number of tickets, and has the advantage of potentially causing angst for those guilds who don't look after their members, as it gives those members a potent way to express their dissatisfaction. The argument that people will deliberately improve their chances by spending $45 each on additional pledges may have some qualitative appeal, but a quantitative analysis of the numbers (in particular total cost vs probability of success) shows that it makes no sense to do so.

    I'm guessing that they will go for a pure lottery model.
    Anyone can buy a ticket for the 'next' draw, there are unlimited number of tickets for each draw, one can get tickets either by buying with copper (about 1000 in todays currency seems about right), or one can buy them with award-tickets, then at drawtime they simply put winners on ticket numbers. Then it resets to next draw.
    But we will see.
