[Info needed] 587 - Overworld compass shows far distant POIs

Details:On my overland compass far distant POIs are shown, e.g. Verdantis Shardfall, Brightbone Pass etc while being close to Spite. This not only happens for sparkly quest locations but other landmarks. The landmarks seem to be limited to Quest locations, Shardfalls and certain control points. Towns & other landmarks are only showing for the same sector.

Are they showing pronounced or are they a bit smaller and dim on the compass?

 

They were a bit smaller and dim grey as far as I remember. Today in 558 the glitter quest highlight is gone and far places like Aerie or Ardoris are small and dim grey. However there's no marker on the Rhun Shardfall at my new location (Brit Graveyard) and IMO all shardfalls listed can be reached without CP from the place. Ardoris however is too far - don't know if this is due to a quest I have there.
