Description: I sure do get a LOT of Pelican disconnects.
Reproduction rate: Not sure
Blocker: Yes
Details: Here is the exact message:

[Pelican] Network congestion caused a disconnection from the game service.

---> I don't recall this problem prior to r42. I get several day when zoning from a scene to the overland map or vice versa.

Steps to Reproduce: Not sure. It happens sporadically.

User Specs:
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz, 2601 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M
SotA.EarlyAccess.Win.64.614.Date.05.30.17
Area: Solace Bridge Outskirts to the Novia Overland map

 

Anyone else seeing this?
@Fionwyn Wyldemane have you tried restarting your router, checking for firewall issues, etc.
Are you seeing this in particular scenes?

 

I have not only restarted the router, but I bought a new one - a sweet model that gives me 200+mb DL speed! Woot

When I get the Pelican error I can immediately log back in. I get a different message when I lose my internet completely. There are no scenes in particular where it happens, when I move from one scene to the another. It hasn't happened at any other time.

 

I've experienced it at least once a day since 614, figured it was Comcast problem as it has been raining like crazy here last few days. Just seems to be random.

 

@Fionwyn Wyldemane new routers can be a blessing or a curse. If you have not yet, check with your internet provider to see if it is one they recommend.
If you are still having issues, make sure you have updated the firmware on it.
