I saw you were talking to Atos about this. I couldn't repro.

 

A friend has been having this issue with the game crashing at 94%. Perhaps related?

He was trying to zone in to both Novia and the POT White Hart on Abundis.

 

Yeah, I did a full re-install and it's still happening.

 

Is this happening just anytime you zone or just with the scenes you mentioned?
I am not noticing an increase in crashes with this release. When you crash, is it just closing the program on you, not responding, etc.
Any trends you can notice? This could be a lot of things. Have you modified the game settings any to see if there is a difference?

 

To follow up, in my friend's case this may be an artifact of load times and the OS thinking that the game has crashed--in his case it is not always an game crash (though that has happened as well).

In case anyone else is getting the same error as his on Windows OS, the screen will go white and say the program is unresponsive. If you opt to wait it out, the game hasn't actually crashed and seems to respond again. Though I should note that my friend has always had very long load times, so this may be particular to his system.

 

Upon review of crash logs submitted to our server, it looks like your client is being overwhelmed with DX11 error messages. Please make sure your drivers are up to date. Possibly attempt to repair of reinstall DirectX 11, and then see if the issue persists?

 

I will look into that. I did update my nvidia drivers to the latest release and that did not help, but I will try a DX11 re-install.

Brittany Alley's: I usually crash when I zone in and I have logged into BA and had it crash.
Overworld map: Crashed on the overworld once
Novia market: high pct of the time I'm crashing here.
Ardoris: Zoned in twice. Once, the ground wasn't rendering in large areas. Crashed another time I think
New Britannian Market: I don't know whether I crashed zoning in there.

I take it back. I am much more stable with the new drivers. There was one of other change that might be entirely unrelated, but I closed the launcher after the game started.

I zoned from NM to BA to Etceter to Xenos to Overworld to Blood river to NM and back to BA without a crash. I think that means my issue is resolved.
