    Earth's Embrace says it gives a -50% fizzle chance from equipment. It does not. It's broke or your definition of -50% fizzle chance from equipment in not understandable.

    Reproduction Rate: 100%

    Cast the spell and you do not get -50% fizzle chance from equipment.

    Steps to Reproduce: Cast Earth's Embrace

    That's how I originally interpreted it until I realized all active spells now have a fizzle comment. Basically this means some spells are easier to cast in heavy/high fizzle armor, and others are much more difficult in heavy/high fizzle armor (meaning they're more intended for clothies and the mages). At least, that's how I'm interpreting it now hehe. But true, the tooltips, in MANY aspects, need lots of love. So Earth's Embrace? It is much easier for heavy armor users to cast this spell.

    @Morhir
    What type of armor are you wearing for each slot?

    The tooltips are confusing but if you understand them you can use the info to calculate the impact of fizzle chance. The -50% fizzle chance from armor means that the fizzle chance penalty from equipping armor is multiplied x 0.5.

    To verify, put on enough armor that earths embrace has a decent amount of fizzle chance. Now take off a piece of armor and notice that the fizzle chance on the earths embrace tooltip went down by 0.5 x the fizzle chance listed on the armor. Put the armor back on and your fizzle chance will go up by o.5 x the fizzle chance on the armor.

    Now look at your fizzle chance with lightning (air tree). It has 45% increase in fizzle chance from armor. Take off a piece of armor an notice your lightning fizzle chance drops by 1.45 x fizzle chance listed on the armor. Put the armor back on and your lightning fizzle chance will go up by 1.45 x the fizzle chance listed on the armor.

    Fizzle chance is working correctly but is not intuitive. (I spent a lot of time playing around with different armor configurations and looking at the tooltips right after this update.)

    PS: An extra confusing part of the fizzle chance calculation: If one (or both) hands are empty, you get a bonus -10% fizzle chance (Which is of course multiplied by the fizzle chance multiplier on the tooltip for each spell.) So if you do something crazy like... umm... pick up a shield when you have a weapon equipped you get (-10% fizzle chance from shield + -10% fizzle chance since you no longer have a free hand) x whatever the fizzle chance multiplier is for the spell you are looking at. If you aren't really keeping up with the numbers (on a calculator) it can seem like fizzle chance is crazy buggy....
