[Info needed] Ghost sword blade when moving

I know it sounds strange - it looks like the reflection of a sword blade moving in my avatar's right hand.

It also appears when kicking a crate and jumping.

 

is it by any chance the left hand? then there is already a bug for it with shields appearing when interacting with containers etc (https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/f...when-opening-container-then-disappears.98790/)

 

Nope is right hand.
Plus this is completely different from that shield appearing bug report.
I am the one that reported that bug.

 

Hmmm. Does anyone happen to have video of this by chance?
Are you walking or using the default movement speed? I'm not sure what this is about just yet...

What type of sword? I use a two-handed sword and have not noticed anything.

Also, is it something like shown below? That is the swing graphic for a harvesting axe. This is the first time I've ever seen it, in however many thousands of tree harvests I've done.

 

Yes, that is what it looked like, except a sword blade shape.

I have not seen it on any of my avatars since the last release - nor have I seen the bug reported shield appearing.
Of course it will start again once I post this, but I can ignore it........

I'll keep an eye on this as well keep an eye out for future reports. We have seen something like this previously. It was patched, but the bug may have come back to life....

 

I saw this the other day, but was right before I logged off. If I see it again I'll record it.
Was the default 'half run' speed.

Yeah, this bug is back again. Ghost weapons

 

@Lexie , I've seen this during R46 and R47. It happened after I broke some crates in adventure scenes-- the Graff Gem Mines and Etceter Mines (R46), and in the South Longfall Wetlands yesterday(R47). I was in combat mode while breaking the crates. It also happened after I used crafting stations in Owl's Head (R47) and in my basement (R46). However, both of those instances were after the crate breaking took place earlier in the gaming session.
