[Info needed] Light spell fails to cast a light

Cast light, there's no ball of light... just darkness

 

After casting a different spell, the light spell started working again, so it may just be it is broken until something else is cast.

 

@Meridyn We're not able to reproduce this internally. Did you get this to happen again after logging out and logging back in?

 

To reproduce this bug, cast light spell on yourself. Now, cast the light spell on yourself again and it will disappear. The buff icon is still active but the animations and light source disappears.

 

I'm seeing this also in build 521 - FYI.
Casting light doesn't create the ball of light effect, or additional light, during the 1st casting. It works afterwards, though

I've had the same issue. If i zone into a town then try the light spell, the animation plays without any light being cast. I can keep trying to use the light spell with the same effect. But if I cast strength of earth, then light spell, the light spell works as intended. I can recast light spell while one is active without removing the spell, it just creates a new light as intended.

 

Yea, light spell seems to be working on a toggle. Instead of refreshing the current light spell, casting is turning the effect off if it's already on.

If you recast, it will come back, but recast again and it goes away.
