[Info needed] losing too much EXP when you die

    Hi all...

    Just died in the britanny sewers and lost 25000 pooled exp for that...i was wondering wtf is going on and NeXT time i died i only lost the normal amount of ca 3000. At same time the mobs even as they yesterday gave me nice exp...now suddently gave MINUS exp when i killed them.....well orange mobs...only 2 skills turned on...somehow i feel a bit screwed! :)
    I rly wpuld like my hard worked exp back :)
    and btw....the mobs in the sewers now suddently doesnt atke dammage at all sometimes!

    It is entirely possible to get 'minus' xp when killing mobs and only have 2 skills turned on if those skills are 1) high level 2)require a lot of xp to GM, such as a few innates. While you are still earning xp from killing mobs it is taking that xp and adding it to those skills as they level at a deficit, so it draws it from your pool. Health is an example of that will take a lot of xp if you are leveling it past 80....also intelligence.

    We would need to gather all the specifics in what skills you were using, what level, and what mobs you were fighting (and in what scene). I hate to ask for so much info, but it's a complex but neat system.
    I also say that because xp system seems to be working correctly at this time, so maybe we can get to the bottom of this :)

    What lvl i am i have no idea. But the sewers are hard for me to manage. The start they are green, but the liches are yellow/orange for me. Elite skeles at yellow. SO with only two skills turned on i should get exp, just like the day before where i even had seven skills on and gained exp. No matter what i shouldnt lose 25k exp on dying and each death afterwards only lose 3k exp.
    I used aimed shot and disabling shot.... aimed at skill 95 and disabling at skill 78......as said, the day before i had those 2 skills and even 5 more turned on...and still i got good exp!

    @Anabolicus I mean what level you had those skills at. BUT you can check your adventure level by hovering your mouse over your name on the paperdoll :)

    watched my char since i wrote last on this topic.....first death a day i normaly lose 10k exp..... SOOO the 25 k i lost that day MUST be a bug! so i would like to get the 15k exp back .-)

    every player has talked about EXP pool penalty on last year... 2 months ago.. every time i die.. i lose 200.000 of pool... and i survived that... seems that a Portalarium this thing seems correct (nothing of this is right on real world or in a lot of other games.. but here... is the law).. the only thing a player can do.. is to farm pool all the time.... and accumulate money. (in single mode... because on multiplayer there are no sufficient enemies to farm pool)
    result: single player game FTW. (an old story...nothing to do with UO online.. but .. SOTA is not a spiritual successor of the best MMORPG ever.. but the successor of the Ultima series.)

    i actually don't care how much exp i Loose on death, as long it's correct...and that seems not beeing the case here!

    The game is great, but somehow the errors are not been fixed - and the answers from the support when asking for help are...."BEEEEEEEEEEPPPP"!
    At same time the gamemasters bann folks, even as the skills aint working correctly...somehow i think that cant be correct! You tell the support something is wrong and then u get punished?!?!?!?!

    I can see there is a big difference how my chars skillgainrate is , compared to a friend of mine. And NOTHING is done! I love testing the features and I find a lot of bugs that way, but how it comes they never get fixed or are taken seriously by the support or "GM's"?!
    How it comes 2 players with same setup are gaining their skills in a diffent rate? How it comes 2 players on same lvl and skillsetup, Loose different exp on death?

    I could go on....and still the errors just wont be fixed as far it seems!?
