[Info needed]Lost item on stairs

1. Title: Lost item when trying to place on stairs of Stone Two-Story Row house
2. Reproduction Rate: Once. I haven't been able to place anything else here
3. Blocker? No!
4. Details:
   Tried to see if I could decorate the stairs of the Stone Row house, pulled out a wolf's hat and saw that it was nowhere to be placed, I accidently hit a move key, went a step up the stairs and let go of the hat. At this point I expected to find it in my inventory, but it's nowhere to be found. I suspect it's sitting underneath the stairs.
   
5. Steps to Reproduce: I can't as it stands right now.

Make sure you check around the whole lot (including the outside.) If you still cannot find it please let us know. It will sometimes appear again after relogging.

Do you own this house and lot yourself? I ask in case we need to come in-game to get it for you...

 

Hi @Lexie , sorry for the delayed response, I have been on vacation.
I will make sure to check around the house tonight, the outside area is somewhat sparse on a row lot
If I can't find it, don't worry about it - it's a wolf hat. I just wanted to let you know of a potential placing "feature".

Edit: yes - I own the house.
Edit2: just checked it's nowhere to be seen and it does count against my 5 outdoor decorations.

 

@Lexie has this gone into oblivion, since we moved to R43? -Or because I said it was just a wolf hat?

 

hmm? Oblivion? No, Tuesday was a US holiday and yesterday was the telethon...
msg me on the forums when you are in game or just msg me in the game if you see me logged in. I can take a look around. Since it is counting against your property it might just be stuck in a wall so you can't see it.
If we can't find it, I'll refer it to our support team.
