Details: A giant chasm has opened in the northern region of the overworld, dooming us all. When I entered the Hallowed Plains (the only scene I could enter when I fell in) and entered the Overworld map again, the chasm had moved further west. Anastasia Fox (another player) could verify it wasn't jst me.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Log into Shroud of the Avatar, Single player Online.
2. Travel to the northern region of the map, by the Hallowed Plains.
3. Observe a giant rift in the overworld that dooms us all!!!!

User Specs: PC running Windows 10, 64 bit OS. Game version 631

 

somebody didn't put their toys back when they were done...

 

I'm not able to repro this and I'm running around this whole area...
Don't be skeered to use /bug on your reports, it will give us where you are standing when you use it All you have to do is paste since it will copy the info to your system...

Sorry about that--it seems to come and go. I will see if I can reproduce with the new patch.

Anastasia Fox also mentioned players in Discord mentioning this bug appearing for them also, though unsure if in the same general area.

 

@Lexie it appears that the new patch has fixed this issue, at least on my system. I have not stumbled into a massive chasm of doom since the patch! Thanks!

I am on the edge. Resolute is totally blocked off for me. It extends all the way to Jaanaford.
Hopefully it will fix if I reload. Nope. Trying again, full restart.
That worked.

What I did to start, in case it helps. I was in Tenebris Harbor 2 days ago (still 636), today I decided to start on world map. That is when the world was wonky. Not sure if it will reproduce, but it is all I know. @Lexie

I encountered this bug *in* and *outside* Resolute at the same time on two different machines. A third avatar did not experience these shenanigans. Below is the bug report for the avatar in resolute. The avatar outside resolute is running an NVIDIA GeForce GTX970M GPU RMA: 3040. Same patchlevel. He entered the siege by teleporting to the Hills Siege from a POT. He was forced out of the siege to the overworld map. The doomed avatar (below) had entered the hills siege and was on the way to resolute. A third avatar, @Jarikith had teleported to the siege from a different POT, and, when forced out, was placed in Resolute, as opposed to the overworld map.

Title: Force-zoned into Resolute from Siege and fell to my doom

Details: Cleared the siege outside resolute. Let the game force me into resolute (5 minute timer). Zoned in and the ground was a bit lower than, well, everything else.. Fell to my death. After i respawned, I immediately fell to my death again.
