[Info Needed]Taming collars not being used on fails

3 months now fails dont burn collars, the only time you lose a collar is on a sucessful tame.

Well at 83 collar recover, not sure how this plays out at the other levels.

 

I will try to find out if this is now intended or a bug, @Govenor Ruin. If taming is no longer gaining skill points on a failed tame attempt, it would make sense that a collar is not consumed. Thanks for bringing this up. I will try to get some clarification.

 

What level of creature are you attempting to tame? Collar retension for failures is measured not just by the passive skill, but also by the relative level of the creature attempting to be tamed.

 

Ohh, mabey thats it.. bear patr and obi bears.

I tame alot of them, the last time I lost a collar to a fail was R 33.

 

I noticed the collar recovery skill now appears to add a much larger chance to not lose a collar. My skill is 74 which is 161% collar recovery chance.

 

Haha with that % so high u should almost gain a collat each attempt.
