    I approve 200%. 100% for the idea in general, and an additional 100% for The Goonies reference.

    music has been a big deal in role playing games for a long time. why stop now? Now is the time to take what we've had for years and do more with it.

    Bard's Tale had songs to aid friends in combat, Ultima had songs to reveal secrets...

    Zelda used tons of music in many of the games!

    Games like Lunar had stuff too.

    There's so many examples.


    go go go music!

    I just want it to be meaningful use of music. Not tacked on stuff.

    I LOVE this idea! I do have a request though... KISS! (Keep It Simple... uh... Silly.)

    Zelda's Ocarina of Time I think was a good level of 'musical capability' to expect from your average player. It was about a 3-10 note series, and the actual timing and duration of the notes was unimportant. More like a combination code.
