Is there a way of marking the map?

I would like to drop a note on the map so I can remember where this great shop I found is...

Is there some way of doing this? I've tried right clicking and various other things.

Not yet.

You can take a screenshot of the map and then manually make your own notes on your computer. I’ve done that a few times.

This can only be done on the map on the website.

Login and go to edit and you can drop your own POI markers.

I would love for them to add a cartography skill where people could do this and sell maps with notes on them.

 

they work permanently as long as you're logged into the main website, but that times out a lot quicker than the forum log-in.

 

Omg, I completely forgot about the UO cartography! That skill would be so perfect to bring back, being able to add remarks on the map or map out unknown area, find secret passages.
Gosh I’m UO reminescing now.

 

You can also take screen shots from in your web browser. You might even be able to use your web browser's Print command.
