    Anyone remember UO Beta?

    September 1997 was the last day of the original beta test. The beta ended with a bang, as players were treated to an "end of the world" scenario with Shadowlords, demons, and other evil creatures slaughtering every character in sight.

    That would be very nice but we have persistence, and we can't have nice things because some people will complain they lost precious hours or something if we do a server reset of some sort after a big brawl :p

    Whatever happens then, its all very real, there will be no wipes... may god have mercy upon your souls.

    Oh and for the record, I did warn you in advance... no whining after the fact :

    I couldn't even log on. Modem couldn't handle it. Servers couldn't handle it. And I am sure the pc as well ^^
